MERCED – As UC Merced planning moves toward a 2002 groundbreaking ceremony, you are invited to take a first-hand look at campus planning efforts and to have a chance to provide your input to the UC planning process.

Merced County and the University of California are sponsoring the latest in a series of community Planning Fairs Saturday, June 9th from 9 am to noon in the Sam Pipes Room at the Merced Civic Center located at 678 West 18th Street.

The Planning Fair will begin at 9:15 am with a presentation. You are invited to come and learn about the preliminary policies for land use, housing, circulation, infrastructure, parks, schools, agricultural protection, and other topics of interest. There will be ample opportunity to provide your comments about the campus and community planning. Games and entertainment for all ages will be provided.
