MERCED--Two public workshops have been scheduled by the Merced County UC Development Office to discuss a draft Planning Agreement for Regional Conservation Planning in eastern Merced County. This agreement is between Merced County, the State Department of Fish and Game, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the University of California. These workshops are scheduled on Wednesday, May 9th at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm in the Merced County Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 2222 "M" Street.

A Public Hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, May 15th at 10:30 am to receive comments and consider adoption of the Planning Agreement.
