University Working Group |
Coordinate
various County activities related to the UC Merced campus including
the University Community Plan, Campus Parkway Alignment Study. Support
efforts include legal advice, budget, public information and legislative. |

Crookham and Board Chairman, CAO Greg Wellman and Administrative
Staff, Planning, Public Works, Business Economic Opportunities,
County Counsel, State and Federal Legislative representatives. |

Plan Review Steering Committee |
Provide
policy guidance on the Community Plan and serves as a liaison with
the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission. |
Two Supervisors,
two Planning Commissioners and the Planning Director. |
| Community
Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) |
CPAC will
work under the direction of the County in collaboration with the
University preparing a community plan for the university community.
To provide policy input and comment on the University Community
Plan, and members serve as a liaison to their respective agency
or organization. |

UC Merced, City of Merced, BIA, Farm Bureau, Board member, Virginia
and Cyril Smith Trusts, MID, Greater Merced Chamber, Hispanic Chamber,
Planning Commissioner, University Committee of Merced, Community
Alliance of Family Farmers, Sierra Club, MCEDCO, Snelling MAC, California
Woman for Agriculture and Merced/Mariposa Cattlemans Association. |
| Transportation
Advisory Group (TAG) |
Provide
technical input and expertise to the transportation and circulation
components of the University Community Plan. |
UC Merced,
County Planning, County Public Works Road and Transit Divisions,
City of Merced Planning and Engineering Departments, Caltrans, MCAG,
and City of Atwater. |
| Interagency
Coordinating Committee |
To coordinate
area multi agency efforts and issues. |
County,
UC, Cities of Merced and Atwater, MCAG and Mariposa County. |
| Parkway
Project Development Team |
To provide
technical guidance regarding the planning and design of the parkway
project. |
UC representative,
City/County Planning, Caltrans, Federal Highway Administration,
County Public Works and MCAG. |
